A fellow of the Institute of Engineers (India) and an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Col. Khanna has also served as Director, Financial Planning at Army Headquarters, New Delhi; Senior Professor and Head of Computers Department at College of Military Engineering, Pune; and Senior Professor and Head of Operations Research at College of Defence Management, Secunderabad.
